Modern Authentication and the Sharepoint Connector
In this video, we show how to use and configure the updated Sharepoint connector in ControlSuite Capture 1.2 (AutoStore 8.2) to use the Kofax Token Vault and delegated authorization to store documents in Sharepoint 365 document libraries.
With the use of the Token Vault, users can authorise the system to act on their behalf in the Microsoft Identity Platform. This uses a secure token (OAUTH2) method to allow the system to send documents to Sharepoint as that user. This means that all documents stored in the document library are shown as being uploaded by the user and not the AutoStore service account.
