Customising the Unified Client can achieve a more bespoke, familiar interface on devices within an organisation, tying them in with corporate branding or messaging.
By utilising the MFP panel to display a QR code, we enable touchless print release without having our IT department visit every print device to stick an adhesive QR code to the front, which could go missing or become difficult to scan after time. This also increases security as we can ensure the correct QR code is always displayed on the correct device – preventing potential data privacy issues – were a malicious party to replace a QR code sticker with another.
